carrying the the photocopy of the original ticket

Sir,I booked ticket for Jodhpur for my daughter from Kolkata,booking counter.Can She carry the the photocopy of the original ticket as I will send her the Scanned ticket by e-mail from kolkata. Her date of journey is 5th Oct,2013

No without original ticket she can't travel if the ticket was booked from counter(ie., PRS ticket). You must send that to her by Speedpost or so.

However there can be certain circumstances when without original ticket you can still travel by filing a FIR in case of ticket lost/theft etc.
