Telescopic fare for my journey using Garib Rath

Can I reserve Chennai(MAS) to Jhansi(JHS) and Jhansi(JHS) to Lucknow(LKO) both by Garib Rath Express by telescopic fares. Note that that is the route from Chennai(MAS)- Lucknow(LKO) but not connected by a direct but by change at Jhansi(JHS) :P

Can I get a GR III A.C ticket from MAS to LKO .
Though there is no direct GR I propose to travel by 12611 from MAS-JHS and then by 12594 from JHS to LKO with telescopic fare.
This MAS-JHS-LKO is the normal route.

Do you want to travel using 2 different connecting trains from MAS to LKO? Yes you'll be charged telescopic fare if you book PRS ticket and not E-Ticket.

Telescopic fare facility was withdrawn sometime back but now again it is functional.

Thanks. But the reservation clerk is not issuing the ticket. What should I do. Is there any circular No. regarding this facility.

I don't think Telescopic fare is allowed for these trains:

• Garib Rath
• Shatabadi
• Rajdhani
• Jan Shatabadi
• Duronto

I'll confirm it tomorrow.

Yes Telescopic fare facility is available for all trains(including mail & express) except for mentioned above. In that case separate tickets will be issued.
