:s i had booked a ticked on 05/05/12 from Guwahati to Chakia a special train but the train was late more than 12 hours so i cancel the ticket but the amount has still not credited in my account an it is going on 6month and above, so please see the matter.

How did you cancelled the ticket? Did you file the TDR within 30 days?

yes, i had cancel the ticket within the stuplated time which is alloted by irctc.

If you've done all the steps right(else they won't even tell you) then Railways may not like to refund you as they hold 100's of Crores of Rupees of other passengers like you as well.

Since in case of yours there is additional bureaucratic step Railway Babus will need to take whether your train was really delayed and by how much other people get refund even in a week of filing TDR online.
