Ticket Collector Misbehaving with Elders for Identification Details

Ticket Collector even after showing the attested xerox copy of passport from Australian Embassy and Voters ID is not allowing my parents to travel since they are not carrying original passport with them. Today(06-10-2012) at 4:35Pm train (PUNE to HUBLI) .. Goa Express. Because it is mentioned while booking ticket he is expecting my parents aged (75 and 65) to show the same which was mentioned while booking the tickets.

Why do we have this option, even while we travelling in Airports also they do not ask specific identity cards.

What a stupid option we have provided for TCs to misuse and loot money.

Sorry for this unfortunate situation but hardly anybody in India will carry a photocopy in train. All keep original Id cards.

If he has misused his position or loot money, you can complain.
