I have booked the ticket for a train which departs from a specific station at 10.35 PM. I reached station at 10.00 PM and enquired, the train was late by 12 hours, I wanted to cancel the ticket but have been told by station master that I will not get the refund on the spot and i have to come next day morning.
I just want to know if there is any such rule which states that you will not get the train delay refund after 10.00 PM.
I have gone through the railway cancellation rules and policies, and nowhere it is mentioned that you can't get refund after 10:00 PM.
Can anyone help me to know if there is any such rule or not.
