Pls inform as per present Rly Ticket Cancellation Rules, when would be more advantageous to cancel ticket prior 48 hrs of journey or within 48 hours of journey...
For eg for 3rd AC Ticket of 2 sr. citizen persons total ticket worth Rs. 547
i) if cancelled 48 hrs or more prior to journey then it would be 180/ per person i.e Rs. 360 total will be deducted and
ii) if within 48 to 12 hrs of journey, it should be 25% of 547 i.e 136/- in total. So pls confirm either 136/- will be deducted or the higher amount of 180/- per person will be considered for deduction.
