Chances of WL ticket confirmaton

I booked a ticket in IRCTC site. And I got GNWL1 ticket. Current status is WL1 in 3A. Is wl1 gets directly confirmed or first it will go to RAC and then to confirm in 3A. As I watched wl after available seat.

My train is during New Year. So a huge rush will be there.

I have booked my tickets on 23rd on guruvayur sleeper class and in chendur 2AC.
Guruvayur w/L 35 and chendur w/L 3. Will it get confirmed
