Tatkal Ticket when main person is unable to travel

Dear All,

I had booked a tatkaal ticket yesterday for my family (Uncle and 2 sisters), from LTT to ALD,
and I used my uncle's addhar card as Id proof but unfortunately my uncle is not able to go (as he is unwell).
what to do in this case?, my sister's exam will start from next week and its very important for them to go.

I'm talking about practical rule( not theoretical one) - others must carry their own id cards as well as the main person's id card. Also talk to TTE with humility and he won't object. In the worst case other passengers will only need to pay again the ticket fare + some fine(Rs. 250) but they will be allowed to keep their original seats. It means TTE in any case will not give the seat to any other person. So your sister's journey is safe.
