Wrong Name but Age and PAN number is correct

While booking a tatkal ticket of my friend, I made a mistake.
I put his father's name instead of his Name. But age and PAN card number is correct. What will be the charge if TTE will notice this.
I read:
"The facility of change of name is not permitted on the bookings made under Tatkal scheme"

Here are the rules to change your name in the ticket.

Obviously this ticket will not be considered by any TTE since it contains complete name change. However there is little chance they may even allow you to travel, if you request them too much. Here you can read about penalty charges for ticket-less travel.

If you must travel then you can follow the trick show in the above link. Just show the TTE your ID card naturally and he may not even check it.
