Wifi in railway station

I am a bank employee and sometimes it becomes very necessary to do online net banking. But in most of the railway stations wifi facility is not provided. I want to know why it is so and when can we have such facility in Indian railway stations?

But isn't it provided slowly to stations one by one?
For example it was launched in New Delhi Rly Station in Dec 2014. Railways also did trial in Ahmedabad.

I was traveling from Lucknow to Basti and I had to do internet banking just to see whether my account is updated or not.. But I had to use my mobile balance just to do it. Wifi was not there at that time. It was a huge inconvenience for me. Good to know that most railway stations are getting wifi facility now. Anyways, thanks for the link.
