dear sir i know my user id but forgot my password and i dont remember my security queation answer, i went to forgot password and sent a verification code to my registered phone , but i am recieving the code after a long time i want to know till what time the sesssion expires , please help me recover my irctc account

The normal irctc.co.in session is 6 minutes. I suggest you try during night or at different times. You may get SMS fasters.
By the way what is your mobile service provider?
