The main reasons of automatic logout in IRCTC are
Firstly in IRCTC site there are some link like (Next Button in passenger details page/ Make payment in bank selection page) which are to be clicked only once. If they are clicked twice then Irctc will automatically logout your account.
Another reasons is that when there is some error occurred in IRCTC site then it gives you logout.
Because IRCTC site is poorly maintained by government staff which is not to talented.
Some times IRCTC give session expire error and logout your account. This error is shown to you when you do not click anywhere in IRCTC page for 7 minutes then it gives you session expire.
IRCTC also logout your account automatically if you login in IRCTC from same window or private window because your session remains same .
To avoid this type of error you should login from different browser with different accounts.
And if same account is logged in from two different places then also it will logout from first login place.
