Sir,
What is the procedure for releasing the EQ quota?
When EQ quota is released to general public will it go to Tatkal or general WL first ?
Which of the two, general waiting more than 50 or Tatkal waiting less than 10 have a chance of getting confirmed?

EQ quota is for VIP's, judges, police etc. Mostly it is misused by illegal recommendations.

Tatkal quota is independent of everything else. EQ quota affects only general waiting list.

Tatkal waiting is least likely to clear because nobody will cancel the Tatkal ticket as the refund is Rs. 0. But few people will still cancel it who wrongly expect to get some refund from Tatkal ticket cancellation( for only first and last time).

So Tatkal waiting list will move only when someone cancels the Tatkal confirmed/WL ticket.

You can see the fixed Tatkal quota by checking the date after 2-3 days from today.
