Hi i'm in Chicago n i want to plan my trip via trains.

i need direct contact number of Indian Railways because i can't connect to the toll free numbers. Plz reply ASAP.

You can talk to Railways customer care by dialing 139. It isn't toll free though. Try calling using +91 11 139. Give city code of say Delhi.

When you call this number you'll get these options. Now go to 3/4 options and enter 2-3 times any invalid numbers. Then it'll automatically connect you to Railways customer care.

There is also complete Indian Railways stations direct phone number list prepared which you want to call. Try calling many numbers and identify yourself as a foreigner to get more importance.
