  • NON REFUND OF TICKET

    Dear Sir,

    We booked a ticket through Internet PNR No. 6611557396 and boarded train No. 11652 on 06.02.13 from Singrauli to Jabalpur. The train starting time was 5.30AM but started at around 7.20AM. The arrival time the train was 11.40AM at Jabalpur but train reached at 5PM.

    We also booked connecting ticket PNR No. 6611557130 in train No 13201 from Jabalpur to Lokmanya Tilak Terminal to be boarded at Jabalpur at 3.30PM after reaching of above train. Since the train No 11652 was late more than 5 hours, train No 13201 was left and we could not boarded the same.

    Hence, there was no our mistake and happens because of late arrival of Train No 11652.

    Kindly arrange to refund the same at the earliest.

    Your second ticket was independent ticket since you booked it separately at IRCTC so it can't be considered delay be Indian Railways.

    In this case, since your journey length was more than 500 KM from Jabalpur Lokmanya Tilak -- you were eligible for refund of 50% of amount provided you had filed TDR within 12 hours of departure of the train, though on IRCTC you can file TDR till 30 days.

      Yes Sir, We filed TDR but next day of journey after reaching Mumbai.

      Since we not got the train because of the earlier train was late more than 5 hours, is it not considered delay by Indian Railways ?

        On 6th March 2017 I have booked a ticket of three persons @ Rs. 11610.00 through swipe card from Bongaigaon Railway Reservation Ticket counter, after receiving the ticket I notice that the age is wrong and I ask the reservation clerk to enter the correct age as I mentioned in the requisition form then the clerk rectify the age but again they take Rs. 11610.00 through swipe card and then I ask them why do you take this amount again the clerk replies that this is a system and they will return the money within 5 days, today is 20 days that amount has not return in my account. Now, my question is why the reservation clerk misguided me? Why have I not got the amount till today? Today I ask them the reservation clerk replies that it will take 2 to 3 months to return , is it a system? Without money how can I travel if not get money before my journey? And if I wouldn't have money in my account then the mistake, which has been done by the reservation clerk , will not rectify? Please guide me properly.
