  • Senior citizen ticket booked with 58 actual age

    Hello All,

Few days back I booked 3 tickets online from Balangir(BLGR) to Chennai Central(MAS) for my parents and myself. Unknowingly I have mentioned my father's age to be 60, for which I got a concession against that ticket. But the actual age of my father is 58. So how would I deal with this situation legally ? (Please provide fruitful and legal suggestions/options)

    Thanks in advance.

There is no offence in mentioning wrong age by mistake. TT does not check age while validating the tickets at random.
But in exceptional cases he might check age in that case only you have to do is to pay the concession amount (Difference amount) which you have taken from Indian Railways.
