  • 1 AC Coup vs Cabin

I am planning to book 2 tickets for myself and my wife in Ananya Express (12351) in 1AC. The IRCTC is asking for Berth preference of Coup or Cabin. What is the difference of these 2? I wish to have an arrangement where we will be alone (only 2 berths in a coup). Which of these should I choose? Coup or Cabin? Please advice.

Also please advice if any special facility is provided in 1 AC over 2 AC? If so please mention.

    Regards

RE: 1 AC Coup vs Cabin

1AC train fare is similar to that of flight.

The coupe is of 2 berths where you two alone can be there. Cabin means 4 berths in single room. Go for Coupe. Secondly there is no special facility is provided in 1AC. You'll need to pay for your food yourself.

When booking from the PRS counter and the clerk to enter CP option for coupe. But it'll be confirmed only after chart preparation.
