  • Wrongly mentioned age as 60 but now 59 for senior citizen quota

Sir, I have booked one ticket and mentioned my running age as 60, hence IRCTC given senior citizen benefit concession ticket, but i don't want this benefit because i don't accept senior citizen benefit before i attain the eligible age.

Laterly i confirmed that the complete age of 60 only have got benefit.
Now how can i rectify it, is any procedure to pay the balance amount to railway dept .or. any other sources ?

Please help me and advise me to travel at the same ticket without any intruption.

Don't worry! There is no penalty for availing senior citizen concession when your age is actually less. The TTE will only charge you the difference in fare. No penalty!

Just don't say anything and show your ID normally. Nobody cares of difference of 1-2 years. Just be confident otherwise why do you want to pay the 30% discount for nothing?
