    Members,
    While travelling by train on 13/07/13 to Renigunda from Mumbai, I have noticed that in my berth a light and fan is not working. So I have complained on 8121281212 (Railway complaint no) regarding the above.

    But I have received a SMS stating that my complaint does not pertain to SCR and it has been forwarded to CR.

    The outcome is my problem have not been addressed till I alighted to my destination.

    SMS complaint number for Norther Railway is 9717630982. The other half answer I'll give tomorrow.

      There is no provision of refund in case light or fan not working in Sleeper class. Refund is only when AC isn't working and proper certificate has been obtained from AC technician.

        As per ur reply in post:#2,
        The Train which I was travelling from Mumbai to Chennai (Train no 11041) does not fall in Northern Railway zone. It comes under Central Railway(CR), South Central Railway(SCR) and Southern Railway(SR).

        As per ur reply in post:#3,
        In my above post, I have never mentioned any refund of the same.
