  • Notice: Advance Reservation Period increased from 60 days to 120 days again

    To facilitate the passengers, Indian Railways has reduced the Advance Reservation Period from 120 to 60 days with affect from 1st May 2013 excluding the date of journey.

    • Advance reservation period will be 60 days excluding the day of journey. All booking done upto 30.04.2013 under the advance reservation period of 120 days will remain intact.
    • Cancellations of reservations made up to 30th April 2013 under advance reservation period of 120 days will be permitted.
    • There will be no change in the case of advance reservation of day time express trains like Taj Express, Gomti Express, etc. where lower time limits for advance reservation are presently in force.
    • No change in the case of limit of 360 days for Foreign Tourists.

    i am traveling by geetanjali exp to mumbai.
    now can i go to Bandra with same ticket?

      I guess Bandra is next stop? You can't unless you get it extended by TTE.
      Worst nothing will happen, a small penalty. Nobody has time for this small thing in India.

        Indian railway again extended from 60 days to 120 days for advanced reservation.... other are same....
